This movie used some of the storylines of the fourth novel in The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants series which is the Forever in Blue: The Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood.

I don't know if this movie is a remake or what. Because I saw a movie with the same title and it was released year 2000. The plot is almost the same so, on my own opinion this movie is a remake. But, I am not sure if it is a remake.
By the way, Seventeen Again movie is a Burr Steers movie with cast Zac Efron, Michelle Trachtenberg, Matthew Perry and many more. This movie is set to be released on big screen on August 2008. It doesn't have the exact date yet because this movie is under production.
Seventeen Again is a comedy movie about a guy named Mike who finds his life not exactly as the life that he wanted to be. He is separated with his wife and he even don't have his own home. Even his releationships with his teenage childrens are not good. In short, he is not happu with his life.
One day, while driving home he saw a janitor who is about to jump into the river. He stopped the car immediately to rescue the guy but as he comes near the janitor the man disappears and he found himself falling unto the river and become a 17 year old guy.
He returns to his friends house and he convinced Ned his friend that he is Mike. So, Ned just pretend that he believes Mike. Ned decided to pretend that he is Mike's father and sent him back to high school.
He befriend his son and his daughter. As time goes by, he started to realyze that he is not a good father and also a good husband. He also visited his wife and discovers that he is falling in love with her.
Because of the things that he experience he wanted to know how to get back to his real age and fix everything. He wanted his wife and his children back because he realized that he has the perfect life after all.

The Dragon Ball Z movie is directed by James Wong who is also the director of Kung Fu Hustle and Shaolin Soccer. This movie was set to be released on August 15, 2008 worldwide.
Some movie critiques said that the upcoming movie sucks but I still read some articles about it and lots of people are waiting for the release. Maybe, for them to rate it and to compare it to the anime.
Dragon Ball Z is about a young man named Goku who is about to save the world with his super power. He was sent to Earth for him to find the seven dragon balls but, he need to find it first before Piccolo find it. Piccolo want to take over the world that's why he want the dragon balls.
Justin Chatwin is the one who will portray the role of Goku. According to some sources he already begun his training for some stunt that he needed to do in order to portray the role perfectly. James Marsters is the one who will play the role of Piccolo.
There are some questions in my mind upon hearing this upcoming movie. Will it be a hit? or will they make the Dragon Ball Z movie as good as the anime?
