The next Cliffhanger was said to be entitled The Dam. This is another action movie for the sixty year old Sylvester Stallone.
Rocky and Rambo receives lots of positive review that's why Sylvester Stallone will revive this climbing movie.
It was rumored that Sony pictures is in negotiation with Stallone for this remake. I think Sylvester Stallone will do this remake because he said that he will be making two more action movies and he is no stranger to remaking his own movies.
Possession movie is a remake of a 2002 South Korean movie entitled Addicted. To be released on theaters on February 22, 2008. A psychological drama directed by Joel Bergvall and Simon Sandquist with cast Sarah Michelle Gellar, Lee Pace, Michael Landes and many more. Possession was supposed to be entitled Addicted just like the South Korean 2002 movie but it was changed to Possession with some reason.
Plot:
Roman and Jessica is a happy couple living along with Roman's brother Ryan. Jessica is so afraid of Ryan because of some cases that Ryan's encounter. But Roman told her there's nothing to be afraid of. A freaking car accidents happen that cause Roman and Ryan both in coma. Time passes by and Jessica really missed her husband. One day, Ryan wakes up and he's claiming that he is Roman. Jessica don't want to believe him because her husband is still unconscious and still lying on a hospital bed. But, she was convinced that Roman's soul is in Ryan's body when Ryan told her every little details that they done together. She accepted Ryan as Roman and fall in love with him even though some disagrees. What will happen if one day Roman's body wakes up? Will Jessica still be with Ryan's arms?

Well, here's another movie again to be remake now its a Thai film entitled Shutter. The 2004 Shutter movie is not that scary, that's what I think. Now, Shutter is to be remake and this movie is to be directed by Masayuki Ochiai and this movie is expected to be released on the 21st of March 2008.
Shutter 2004 was the top grossing film in Thailand at that time. Let us all see if the remake will also be a top grosser of 2008.

Creepshow is a 1982 horror/comedy film directed by George A. Romero and was written by Stephen King. This movie is one of the most popular horror movie. This movie consists of five short films entitled "Joting Tales of horror", "Father's Day", "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill", "Something to Tide You Over", "The Crate" and "They're Creeping Up on You!".
Well, about the upcoming remake Warner Bros Pictures are not yet hired the writer of the remake. maybe, we will just have to wait for the other information. According to some sources the said remake is stated to be release on 2008. Also according to the Hollywood Reporter that Warner Bros Pictures are planning to have a new version of the Creepshow. If the 1982 Creepshow movie with a collection of five stories but had nothing to do with one another. Now, the remake will share some characters.

Yup, its Chucky. Chucky will be back on big screen on 2009. According to ShockTillYouDrop.com Child's Play inspired many imitations and sequels for almost twenty years. Kirschner told ShockTillYouDrop that the next Child's Play that they were going to do is the remake of the first Child's Play and even pushing it further and making a very terrifying version of the first one, which is pretty scary as it is. But, don't ever think that the upcoming remake will used some CG because they still using the animatronic doll just like the doll that they used to the previews movie.
There's no exact date yet, but this movie will be released on theater by the month of January or February.

As my not that good memory remember, the Korean psychological horror film Kim Ji-Woon is all about the two girls who discover a wicked force in their home while their stepmom's action becomes increasingly erratic.

MOVIE PLOT:
Several people receive strange message which include the date, time and some of the details of their deaths. Even though they deleted the said message, their number is up and they have nothing to do with it.
Beth Raymond witnessed the death of her two friends and become traumatized. She have been traumatized because she know how her two friends died. They both received cell phone messages which include the acutal recording of their horrifying death and they receive the said messages days before they died. And the said death is just like what the messages said.
Beth Raymond told every little details that she know about the death of her two friends. But the police thinks that Beth is having some delusion but there's only one person who believed him Detective Jack Andrews whose sister was killed just like how Beth's friends die.
They will help each other to unvale the mystery to know who is behind the said mysterious calls. But when they get closer to the truth, Beth's cell phone rang and an eerie tune heard.

The Hong Kong Horror film entitled The Eye will be released on theater on February 1, 2008 with hot and sex star Jessica Alba. MOVIE SYNOPSIS:
Just like the Hong Kong Horror film Jian Gui, The Eye Remake is a story of a blind concert violinist named Sydney Wells who undergo a double corneal transplant to restore her sight. At first she don't have any problems about her new sight. She started to learn to see again by the help of her sister and her ophthalmologist.
As time pass by, she notice an unexplainable shadows and images that haunts her. They think that those that Sydney saw was because of Sydney's adjusting sight, or just a product of her imagination or maybe there's really something creepy about that eye.
Sydney started to be horrify because of what she see. Sydney knew that her new eye opens her to a terrifying world. This leads to Sydney to track down who is her eyes anonymous donor.
