CJ7 Movie - Cheung Gong 7 hou (2008)

CJ 7 movie also know as Cheung Gong 7 Hou a Stephen Chow movie set to be released on U.S on March 7, 2008. This movie is directed and written by Stephen Chow along with Chi Keubng Fung. Starring Stephen Chow itself, Min Hun Fung, Chi Chung Lam, Jiao Xu and many more.

According to some critics this movie is suitable and educational for both children and adults. This movie was released in Hong Kong last January 31, 2008.

Synopsis:
CJ7 is a comedy, sci-fi movie about a father who will do his very best for his son. Ti is a Chinese laborer. He works all day at a construction site for his son Dicky. Even if they are poor Dicky was attending an ellite private school. But, Ti can't afford to buy his one and only son some expensive things. Ti is wearing an old clothes and he also don't have those cool toys that his schoolmate has.

Ti is very eager to give Dicky an expensive toy and the only place the Ti knows where he can get some new stuff for his son is the junk yard.

While looking for a new toy for his son he found a mysterious object, he bring it home to show to Dicky and for him to play with. Dicky was so surprise of what his father brought to him then suddenly the mysterious object turned into a pet for Dicky with extraordinary powers.

Dicky uses the powers of his alien pet friend to impress his schoolmate. He bring his CJ7 to his class and then chaos started to ensues.

No Terminator for Arnold Schwarzenegger

The rumors are confirmed. Actor turned California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will not be portraying his role as Terminator on the fourth installment of the movie Terminator entitles Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.

The Terminator role was replaced by Sam Worthington. A young Australian Actor who starred on different television series like The Surgeon, Two Twisted and many more. Sam Worthington will also play the lead role in the upcoming movie Avatar.

Jumper is a science fiction movie directed by Doug Liman. Jumper is a story of a young man who has the ability to jump or to transport.

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins (2009)

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins is the fourth sequel of the Terminator movies. Terminator Salvation is set to be released on 2009.

Terminator is a science fiction film about two machine network who created various terminator models who take over the world.

The fourth sequel is said to be the drastic effects of Terminator 3. After John Connors was terminated by an identical model, Kate his future wife reprograms him. They will begin the creation of an organization with the remaining survivors against the cyborgs that is being built by the Skynet. Will they be able to protect the world against those cyborgs or they will be defeated because of a traitor?

The Terminator Salvation is said to began filming on April 2008. Christian Bale will still be portraying the role of John Connor but it was humored that Arnold Schwarzenegger, Claire Danes, and Nick Stahl are not included in the fourth sequel. This upcoming science fiction movie is set to be released on June 2009.

Stardust-- Fantasy Movie of the Year: Movie Review

Another fantasy movie of the year directed by Matthew Vaughn. A movie based on a novel of Neil Gaiman with the same title.
This movie was released last August 10, 2007 in the United States the movie earns US $9,169,779 in its opening weekend. Stardust will be on local theater this coming October 10, 2007.


PLOT:
The story begins 1893 that was almost 150 years ago. A town named Wall was built beside a portal to the magical world named Faerie. One day, a man named Dunstan crossed the wall and met Una and make love to her. Una was a slave of Ditchwater Sal a witch.
After nine months, Una sends a baby in a basket to Dunstan, that was their son Una named the baby Tristan.
Eighteen years later, the magical kingdom Faerie was facing difficult times when King of Stormhold is dying, King of Stormhold has seven sons, three are already dead and four are still alive. They were fighting each other to know who will be the next king. The king decided to test his sons and think of a plan, he hurls a ruby in the sky and who could ever retrieve the ruby will be the next king.
Upon throwing the ruby into the sky, a star was knocked up and fall. Tristan saw the falling star and decided to get it for Victoria the girl he love. At the same time, three witch sister also saw the falling star, one of them leave to get the star for her to be able to devour its heart and to be able to restore her beauty and power.
Dunstan gives Tristan a package left by his mother, it's a Babylon Candle in which it can make him travel wherever he want. Tristan decided to used the said candle for him to be able to retrieve the falling star he saw for him to prove his love to Victoria, though he wanted to find his mother. Upon looking for the said falling star he saw a young woman Yvaine who is actually the falling star. Tristan was shocked but decided to bring Yvaine to Victoria.
Yvaine tried to escape but she was trapped by Lamia one of the three witches. While Tristan was asleep, stars talked to him and tell him he must protect Yvaine because the four brothers are coming. Tristan uses the Babylon Candle to escape and he wished to get back home. But they are thinking of different home so they end up at the sky and landed on a cloud.
They are captured by a notorious pirate named Captain Shakespeare. But, instead of killing them the Captain taught him various things such as fencing, playing piano for Yvaine and also waltz. After a few days, the captain dropped them near the Wall and Shakespeare crew saves them from the last surviving Prince of Stormhold.
While Yvaine was sleeping Tristan leaves her and get some strands of hair from her for him to be able to prove Victoria that he found the falling star and tell her he doesn't love her anymore.
At the same time, Yvaine met Lamia, Una and Ditchwater Sal at the border between Wall and Stormhold. Lamia kills Sal to free Una, Septimus was also killed by Lamia and Lamia died when Tristan and Yvaine embrace.
Finally, it was revealed that Una was the only daughter of the King of Stormhold and Tristan was the only living heir. Tristan got the ruby from Yvaine's necklace the only proof that he's the new King of Stormhold. He marry Yvaine and his father and Una reunited.
Eighty years past by, Yvaine and Tristan's children grown up. And for the last time, they botht use the Babylon Candle and wish to travel into heavens and became a twin stars.

Resident Evil: Extinction

A 2007 Sci-fi action horror film a sequel from the film Resident Evil: Apocalypse. A the third installment in a series of film adaptation and very loosely based on the popular Copcom survival horror game series Resident Evil.
This film is set to be released on September 21, 2007, directed by Russel Mulcahy and produced by Paul Anderson.

PLOT:
Alice who us being tracked down by the Umbrella Corporation lead by sinister Albert Wesker, she's trying to survive on her own knowing that she become the liability and could endanger those who are around her.
With her super human strength and psychokinetic abilities she gained from being imprison by the Umbrella Corp., she is desperately trying to keep what people left alive and save them from the undead legions.
Alice has to contend not only the zombie armies but also psychotic-driven survivors.
After escaping, she's now hiding in Nevada desert and also been able to rejoins her fellow survivors. Alice also found a notebook indicating what place doesn't have viruses. After reading the information, they all began searching to reach the said sanctuary where other survivors are waiting. But during their journey they'll encounter the Umbrella.
Because of the failure of the Umbrella Corporation to get Alice they just created a clone of Alice from the DNA that they extracted during the time Alice was in prisoned. But unfortunately only few of them have the necessary blood factor that Sam Isaacs needs for the Serum. He wanted to complete his perverted research. When Weskers knew about what Isaacs wanted to do. Weskers ordered that Isaacs must die, but before that happen Isaacs escape. He uses his own invention to his self turning him into "Ultimate Lifeform".
That's the time when he continue to find Alice to get the remaining materials for the antidote and Alice will be forced to fight back.
If they're planning to save the humanities. One should remain alive.
