Fishtales (2008)

Fishtales movie is a story of a mermaid who will fall in love to a widowed man named Thomas Bradley. Thomas Bradley is a professor in Oxford. He will lose his job if he will not be able to prove his theories about ancient love spells.

To be able to stay on his job Thomas along with his daughter Serena head over to Spetses the magical Greek island.

Serena, Thomas' 12 year old daughter knows that her father need someone to be with aside from her. She decided to look for a girlfriend for her father on the island. But, as soon as the girl met Thomas they got disappointed because Thomas is an awkward and a clumsy type of person.

Serena didn't lose hope. One day, while on the beach Serena meets a beautiful and intelligent mermaid Nereid. Upon meeting the lovely mermaid Serena thinks that Nereid is the right match for her father. But before they will be able to live happily ever after Nereid along with Serena and Thomas need to battle against Captain Mavros who wanted to kill Nereid for him to get the priceless jewel-encrusted tail of Nereid.

Because of Serena, Thomas will be able to prove his theory and be able to look for a new love of his life.

Fishtales will be on theaters on May 1, 2008. It is directed and written by Alki David with cast Billy Zane, Kelly Brooke, Amber Savva, Christian Gill and many more. This movie was already released on United Kingdom last August 24, 2007.
