The Forbidden Kingdom (2008)

The Forbidden Kingdom movie was said to be the first movie with Jackie Chan and Jet Li the two martial arts veterans with Michael Angarano as Jason Williams the foreign youngster. This movie is blasting on big screen on April 18, 2008.

The Forbidden Kingdom movie is all about a teenager from Boston who is always bullied at school. Jason is so obsessed with Hong Kong and Classic Kung Fu movies and he dreamed of becoming a martial artist for him to be able to protect himself.

One day, Jason went in a pawnshop in Chinatown and he discovers an extraordinary Chinese Staff. A legendary Ru Yi Bang of the Chinese sage and warrior named Sun WuKong, the Monkey King.

The said staff transform Jason to the ancient China. He meet Jackie Chan as Lu Yan a kung fu master who looks like a beggar. Jason becomes Lu Yan's disciples and went to a journey. Sooner or later the two will meet another Kung Fu master named Golden Sparrow and the Silent Monk which is portrayed by Jet Li. They all went to a journey after hearing the story of Jason.

The Jade Emperor hear about Jason, the emperor immediately sends the three well-skilled guards for them to be able to get the staff from Jason. They were after the said staff because of the ancient prophecy about Sun WuKong who was jailed in a mountain which is called Five Fingers mountain by the Buddha. And the only way to free Sun WuKong is by a foreign youngster which is Jason who will return the staff to Sun WuKong.

Other cast of this movie are Collin Chou, Li Bingbing, Liu Yifei, Morgan Benoit, Jackie Wu and many more. Directed by Rob Minkoff.
