Beowulf..

It is based from an epic poem entitled Beowulf.
It's the fantasy film of the year. It will be released on November 16, 2007. Directed by Robert Zemeckis. The film uses special digital enhanced live action technique.
Starring Angelina Jolie, Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins and many more.

The movie is about a man who will fight and defeat the monster Grendel who terrorized the town and later began killing out of revenge.

THE POEM:
The Beowulf poem is the major survivor of the Anglo-Saxon heroic poetry. It has an anonymous author and a 3,183 lines.
In the poem, the hero of Geats which is Beowulf has three fights with three different antagonist namely, Grendel, Denmark(Grendel's mother, portrayed by Angelina Jolie in the movie) and a dragon.
