It's based upon Northern Lights, the first novel of Philip Pullman's trilogy His Dark Materials.

PLOT:
The story revolves to Lyra's adventure.
Lyra is a 11-year old girl orphan growing up in Jordan College in England. She was accompanied by her personal dæmon Pantalaimon. She lives in the world where Science, Theology and magic are closely intertwined.
Lyra's adventure began when she heard a hushed talk of an extraordinary particle a 'magical dust'. It's microscopic in size and can only found in the Vast arctic. After overhearing that mysterious sound, Lyra and her dæmon prevented an assassination attempt to Lord Asriel her uncle. It is also the time when children mysteriously disappearing.
Lyra met Mrs. Coulter a bewitching, beautiful woman she takes Lyra and employs her as an assistant to help Lyra in her expedition. The master of the school gives Lyra an alethiometer, it is a powerful and rare instrument with the power to reveal the truth.
Will Lyra be able to rescued the children that mysteriously disappeared?. And will she be able to see her uncle?
