The Spiderwick Chronicle movie is based on a best selling Childrens book by Tony Diterlizzi and Holly Black with the same title.

The movie is all about the three children who battle against different magical creators who want Arthur Spiderwicks Field Guide.
MOVIE PLOT:
It started when Jarad along with his twin brother and family move to the house owned by their great, great uncle Arthur Spiderwick. Jarad saw a book with a warning written on a paper. Inspite of the warning that Jarad read. He still open the book and read it.
Upon reading the book he started encoutering different types of fairies, goblins and mystical creators that only Jarad can see.
He told everything to his twin brother and sister Mallory, but they don't want to believe Jarad until Mollory uses a small mirror. Using that small mirror she saw the different creatures that only Jarad can see.
Now, they have to investigate for them to know what's going on. They have to uncover the fantastic truth behind the book and also the different creatures that inhabit the Spiderwick estate.
